17 In this project, we see an unusual swimming pool design. Do you think that different and unusual projects in terms of design attract attention in Türkiye? For us, the water element forms a part of the designed space. Because it is actually a design element that should differ in the design of every space. For example like I mentioned earlier, a line formed with water at the point where the continuity of the interior space intersects with the view of the pine forest and the fluidization and disappearance of the solid... I think that the design of the space and the water element that it needs should be handled differently. Sometimes a guiding element, sometimes a relaxing place with its sound, sometimes a visual border. For example, you will not see a railing in this structure. While the water element actually draws the boundary of the structure, it also removes all physical obstacles. It turns into a natural border. In addition, the weir was designed as a design element that guides the reinforced concrete cantilever stairs from the secondary entrance of the building 1.5 meters below. We wanted the use of pebbles in the weir to create the feeling of walking by a river with the vegetation used. We made sure that this route appealed to different senses with the water flowing over the concrete pool surface and the serenity of the sound of the water in motion.
